Use your phone camera to measure your heart rate automatically, or tap along with your pulse manually. Keep a diary of readings over time and export for your GP. All data stays on your device.
How to measure: Tap Start, then gently place your fingertip over the rear camera lens. The flashlight will turn on to shine through your finger. Hold completely still for at least 10 seconds while your heart rate is detected.

Heart rate zones: A resting heart rate of 60-100 BPM is considered normal for adults. Athletes may have resting rates as low as 40-60 BPM. Above 100 BPM at rest (tachycardia) or below 60 BPM (bradycardia) may warrant a conversation with your GP, especially if accompanied by symptoms.
Important: This tool gives an approximate reading and is not a medical device. Do not use it to diagnose any condition. If you are concerned about your heart rate, please see your GP.
